Here is how a project runs with us, start to finish.
Every project begins with a complimentary discovery call. We talk about your project, your goals, the location and the timeline, and whether the studio is the right fit.
Svetlana visits the space, learns how you live, reviews the existing conditions and defines the scope of work with you. $650 + HST, up to two hours.
You receive a detailed scope of work and a flat-fee proposal for the design and its implementation. Once the agreement is signed, the design phase begins.
Four to eight weeks, depending on scope. Concept development, space planning with layout options, furniture and finish selections, interior elevations, custom millwork design, lighting and electrical planning and 3D renderings, presented and refined across two rounds of revisions. Further changes are billed hourly.
Once the design is finalized and the materials are selected, Svetlana prepares the construction drawing package. Contractors and trades price and build from it without guesswork.
Svetlana stays closely involved through the build. Design supervision, site questions, coordination of material and furniture orders, monitoring deliveries and assisting with installation.
Furniture, lighting, finishes, accessories and artwork are installed and styled, so the completed space reflects the original design vision.
Our drawings are precise enough for builders to price without guessing, which is where renovations usually go wrong.

Yes. The drawing package is complete enough for any qualified builder to price and build from, and Svetlana stays involved on site to keep the work true to the drawings.
Yes, we are happy to travel to your project. A travel fee applies to projects outside Toronto.
